معرفی

پرینترهای حرارتی همان پرینترهای بکار رفته در صندوقهای فروشگاهی، دستگاه های کارتخوان، عابر بانک یا سیستمهای نوبت دهی هستند. این پرینترها دارای عملکرد سریع، آسان و ارزان برای پرینت روی رول های کاغذ هستند. مکانیزم جدید چاپ تحت عنوان چاپ با حرارت یا چاپگرهای حرارتی معرفی شده اند. در این نوع چاپ نیاز به جوهر نیست و هد دستگاه توسط ایجاد حرارت بر روی کاغذ می نویسد. البته باید توجه داشت که در این نوع پرینتر ها از کاغذ های خاص حساس به حرارت استفاده می شود. عدم استفاده از جوهر و در نتیجه عدم نیاز به شارژ کارتریج از برترین ویژگی های این نوع چاپگر می باشد. پرینترهای حرارتی  در دو نوع تک رنگ (سیاه و سفید) و ۲ رنگ عرضه می شود که  نوع ۲ رنگ آن به علت عدم وجود کاغذ دو رنگ در بازار ایران عملا کاربردی ندارد. این پرینتر گزینه مناسبی برای سیستمهای اندازه گیری، تجهیزات پزشکی، دستگاههای نوبت دهی، سیستمهای سفارش و فروش است. شما می توانید با استفاده از آردینو نیز این پرینتر را راه اندازی کنید.

Introduction

This is a thermal printer like you would find on a cash register or adding machine. It will print simple strings passed to it via TTL serial, bitmap images (poorly) and it even generates several different formats of barcodes!
The thermal printer takes 2.25" (57mm) wide thermal paper with a max roll diameter of 1.5" (39mm). Thermal paper is inexpensive and commonly found in most office supply stores in 85ft lengths. You may have to remove some paper from these rolls in order for it to fit into the printer. But, you can always use the excess paper in the printer, since you don’t need to have a ‘core’ in the paper for it to work.
The back panel has 2 3-pin connectors; one for power and one for serial communications. The thermal printer ships with default 19200bps baud rate. If you’re using this printer in conjunction with an Arduino, you’re going to need to connect it to the “Vin” pin and attach an external power supply, as the printer will draw more current than USB is capable of delivering. We’ve found that these printers can draw about 1.5A because they need to generate heat, the best supply for the job is our laptop-style power supply (see related products below)
The print head has a rated life of 50km! That means this printer can handle a marathon’s distance (~30 miles) of printing before the head hits its rated limit. Use this printer in any project where you need a hard copy of the output, or in an art project where you want to keep the output to stick on your fridge, or to build a DIY cash register for your lemonade stand!

لازم به ذکر است در صورت استفاده از این پرینتر، می بایست مواردی را رعایت فرمایید.
1. در صورت نیاز به استفاده از فونت فارسی، می بایست کاراکتر های فارسی را بصورت عکس ابتدا در برنامه خود طراحی کرده و سپس از طریق پرینتر اقدام به چاپ نمایید، متاسفانه در فروشگاه های دیگر همین چاپگر با پشتیبانی از فونت فارسی به فروش می رسد که متاسفانه درست نبوده و بصورت پیش فرض فونت فارسی در چاپگر موجود نمی باشد.
2. این پرینتر در لحظه راه اندازی نیاز به جریان بالای 5 آمپر دارد، حتما از منبع تغذیه ای با جریان بالا و چندین خازن بالای 1000 میکرفاراد در راه تغذیه دستگاه استفاده نمایید. با افزایش خازن می توانید به راحتی مشکل تامین جریان اولیه چاپگر را رفع نمایید.
در عکس زیر 2 نوع چاپ با جریان کم و جریان تامین شده چاپگر نمایش داده شده است. در صورتی که چاپگر شما همانند عکس زیر قادر به پرینت صحیح نیست با تامین جریان مورد نیاز مشکل حل خواهد شد.
