This module is a compact single-cell linear charger designed for 3.7V nominal (4.2V full-charge) Li-ion and Li-Po batteries. It is based on the TP4056H charging IC and follows the standard Constant Current / Constant Voltage (CC/CV) charging algorithm required for safe lithium battery charging.

During the constant current phase, the battery is charged at a preset current of up to 1A. Once the battery voltage reaches 4.2V, the charger transitions into constant voltage mode, gradually reducing the charging current until it reaches the termination threshold. This charging profile ensures safe operation, improved battery lifespan, and reliable performance.

The module accepts power through a USB Type-C connector or external 5V input pads, with an operating input voltage range from 4.2V to 6.5V. It includes an onboard battery protection circuit that provides overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection, and reverse current protection.

Battery terminals (B+ and B-) are connected directly to the lithium cell, while OUT+ and OUT- provide protected output for powering external loads. Dual LED indicators display charging status (red for charging, blue for fully charged). Thanks to its small size and low-noise linear architecture, this module is ideal for portable and space-constrained electronic designs.
